Renovation of a mixed-use development in Indian Trail, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

During the bid process, all communication relating to this bid shall be directed to the Procurement Lead identified above. Failure to meet the requirement may consider your bid nonresponsible. All questions and product substitution requests relating to this project shall be directed to the Procurement Lead identified above in the form of an email no later than 10:00 a.m. April 5, 2023. Answers will be provided to all bidders. The contract may be UCPS' standard Notice to Proceed. E-Procurement Fees will not apply. Your attention is directed to Terms and Conditions stated in the draft copy of contract (Exhibit 2) which shall be deemed to be incorporated into any purchase order or contract. Especially note applicable insurance requirements and obligations to comply with all applicable laws and Union County Board of Education policies. Insurance certificates shall be provided upon request of UCPS Procurement Lead. Union County Public Schools is obtaining bids for Chiller Replacements per specifications provided in the bid documents. Contractor shall field verify all aspects of project to ensure a fully operational system is included in bid proposal. Contractor is to provide all equipment, labor, materials, permits, fees, inspections, etc. for a complete turnkey project. Permits and Inspections shall be provided to the assigned UCPS Project Coordinator. Note: Specifications are provided in order to give a general description of the Work. Contractor is to visit the site and field verify all existing conditions that affect the design and layout of this project prior to preparation of submittal. Contractor is responsible for all measurements, material lists, and a fully functional system whether specified or implied. Contractor shall comply with all current local, state, and national codes and regulations. This includes, but not limited to, complying with all ADA requirements. In the event of a conflict between the Scope of Work and code regulations, the Contractor shall notify the assigned UCPS Project Coordinator for direction. Contractor shall be properly licensed within the state of North Carolina to perform all work listed within the bid documents. Contractor shall have successfully completed projects of this type and size for a minimum of 5 years. References are to be provided within 24 hours of request.
