Cadillac Area Public Schools is requesting proposals for playground equipment at Viking Learning Center, 1700 Chestnut Street, Cadillac, MI 49601. The Cadillac Area Public Schools Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or to accept the proposal that it finds, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the school district. Proposals must include total cost (e.g. equipment, perimeter wall, installation, etc.), without playground safety mulch. The District shall provide the playground mulch. All proposals should be delivered in a sealed envelope and addressed to Cadillac Area Public Schools and be clearly marked: 2023 VLC Playground Equipment. We request two (2) original, signed proposals. We will not accept or consider any late bids. Contractors that are successful Bidders shall be entered into with Cadillac Area Public Schools. The proposal must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement and must provide a sworn and notarized statement disclosing compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an amount of five percent (5%) of the proposed contract sum as a guarantee of the proposer's good faith. The successful Bidders will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of their Contract amount prior to execution of Contracts. All equipment listed on this bid will require installation by the awarded vendor. Proposers shall meet all regulatory laws, codes, licensing and permitting requirements of Local, State and Federal law that apply to Michigan public school districts and Project Services, including, but not limited to, the Michigan Revised School Code (MCL 380.1et seq.)
