The complete scope of work is detailed on the plans and specifications of all disciplines . The set of documents should not be broken down by discipline but considered as a whole. The work includes all transportation of all materials, equipment and workers required for the construction of the building from the source of production of the materials to the construction site in Salluit, Nunavik. The work includes the supply in sufficient quantity of all the materials and equipment required as well as the workers necessary to complete the work. This is valid for all elements, including fixing screws. An interior fastener may not be used for any purpose other than that for which it is prescribed. The work includes the creation of material storage spaces, these insulated and heated, in sufficient quantity to house all the materials requiring temporary protection until they are integrated into the structure. The required temperatures must respect the recommendations of the manufacturers but a minimum of twenty (20) degrees Celsius must be maintained. The works include the supply of all the required packaging for all materials and equipment, according to the packaging standards of the selected shipping company. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure compliance with these with the various suppliers and Subcontractors. The work includes checking the packaging of all items and equipment to be loaded on successive ships, to ensure that they are not damaged during the trip by shocks or salty air. The work includes all the services required to complete the work, whether the connections are necessary temporarily or permanently. These, but are not limited to, include water, electricity, telephone and telecommunications facilities for the site crew. If the contractor deems it necessary, the work includes the supply of a site trailer heated to more than twenty-two (22) degrees Celsius for site needs and to allow site meetings. These workspaces must be equipped with an Internet network powerful enough to allow frequent communications between the participants. Clean sanitary facilities must be provided in sufficient quantity, as well as a rest room for employees and a meeting room for ten (10) people. A printer must be provided as well as a plan printer. The Contractor must also provide its own offices, in addition to those requested above. The work includes, if necessary, all the necessary site installations in order to keep the surroundings of the site safe, regardless of the time of year or the prevailing temperature at that time. Provide protection elements high enough so that they are not completely covered with snow. If these are found buried, they must be cleared of the snow by the Contractor in order to remain visible at all times. The work includes regular cleaning of the site, as well as its surroundings. The waste container(s) must be emptied regularly at the village dump. This section does not limit the scope of work required to complete the project. It only aims to summarize all the important elements to be considered for the preparation of the tender of the Contractor and the Subcontractors. Note 2: unless otherwise indicated: The work of the Contractor covers, among others, without limitation, the following interventions: All the work described in the plans and specifications to obtain a complete work, even outside an area indicated in this section. All supply of materials, labour, tools, equipment, scaffolding and all accessories required to perform and complete to the satisfaction of the CSI Project Manager the works covered in the specifications and the plans All the coordination to be carried out with the establishment and the professionals Site organization; Temporary and infection prevention facilities; Protection of surfaces, devices, equipment and adjacent areas; Temporary partitioning and protection works; Implementation of infection prevention measures; Selective and massive demolitions; All connection work to existing structures; All temporary partitioning work required for noise and dust control; All the measures to be put in place for the prevention of infections during the work; All construction works that affect the affected levels of the building and/or other areas of the existing health facility, which are not specifically part of the intervention zones, but which are necessary for the construction or modification of the building; this also includes all work to close openings created by the dismantling of elements; All housekeeping and cleaning of the site and areas affected by the work; All site protection work; The work includes all incidental work, indicated or not in the contractual documents, but usual and necessary for the completion of the work and the maintenance of hospital services in the neighboring sectors. The plans and specifications only show the nature and extent of the work, but not all the manufacturing, laying, finishing and installation methods to achieve the desired result.
