The 2023 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal. 2023 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal Eldred Township: 1,280 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course at 180 lb/sy 201 Tons of 9.5mm Leveling Course at 90 lb/sy Hubley Township: 1,469 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course at 180 lb/sy All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders for the 2023 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal must be PennDOT prequalified and must supply proof of prequalification. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid. For the 2023 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal this check or bid bond will be made payable to Eldred Township. PA Prevailing Wages will apply to this contract. Each Municipality will award their respective portion of the contract. The successful bidder for the 2023 Multi-Municipal Bituminous Paving Bid Proposal will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the individual Municipality's awarded contract amount within 20 days of the award of the contract. These bonds will be made out to each individual Municipality for their awarded portion of the contract. Bids will then be provided to the remaining Municipality's for review and award at their respective meetings. Each individual municipality will issue their own notice of award. Eldred Township and Hubley Township Boards of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
