Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
Bloom Township School District #206 will receive sealed bids for the: Summer 2023 Asbestos Abatement Project at Bloom Trail High School. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. Failure to attend the Pre-Bid meeting shall disqualify anyone from bidding the project. All bidders must attend walk through in its entirety to be eligible to bid. The Board of Education, Bloom Township High School District 206 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any or all irregularities or technicalities in the bid, and award the bid in the manner that best serves the interests of the Owner. Any such decision shall be considered final. The Owner reserves the right to set aside a Bid from a Contractor who, in the Owner's opinion, does not exhibit past experience equal to the size and scope of this project. The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
