From the existing trail inside Pinkerton Park, the greenway would head north and west along the banks of the Harpeth, this time hugging a small shelf below Fort Granger as the trail approaches Downtown Franklin and would connect under the Franklin Road Bridge leading to the new sidewalk toward the Park at Harlinsdale Farm or south into downtown Franklin. Dependent upon the bridge on franklin Road. Located in Parkland Dedication Quadrant 1 and 4. The project is included in the City's 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
