As of February 5, 2024, a construction manager has been awarded. Construction is estimated to start in late February/early March of 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Surprise intends to procure a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to construct the improvements for Cactus Road (BSNF Railroad Crossing to Litchfield). The CMAR services will be performed in two phases. Phase I, the first contract, will include the pre-construction services, preparation, and submission of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and procurement of any long lead items. Phase II, the second contract, will include complete construction services for the construction of the Project.
