Project description: The Runway 8R-26L Rehabilitation and Connecting Taxiways Program - Year 2 project will reconstruct the keel, blast pad, and shoulder pavement over the entire length of Runway 8R-26L, construct new Taxiway S8, provide new concrete panels for Taxiway K, and demolish Taxiway P. The project includes erosion and sediment control, associated demolition, pavement removal, grading, full strength pavement and shoulder pavement construction, pavement jointing, installation of pavement markings, electrical modifications to taxiway lighting, circuit layouts and modifications, and stormwater capture and treatment. This is an airside project, with all improvements within the secure AOA perimeter of the Airport. All ONT badging, access, driver safety, and contract CSPP requirements must be met as part of the scope.
