Site work for a water / sewer project in Salvo, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of May 24, 2023, bids has not been awarded and because of the lack of participation, the submissions were not opened. No definite date for the rebid. Dare County is seeking skilled Contractors to oversee several aspects of the implementation process for a FEMA Flood Mitigation Assistance grant elevation project. The Contractor will be responsible for the elevation of two homes in Salvo, NC and Kitty Hawk, NC. Contractor(s) will be requested to provide a timeframe for the home elevations and a 5% bid bond. Construction must begin within 120 days of award and completed before March 1, 2024. Submittals shall include 2 envelopes, one with the bid bond and the other with the provided bid tab. Failure to comply with the two-envelope system or using a bid tab other than whats provided may result in a non-responsive bid. Contractors will be required to follow all applicable Federal Uniform Guidance provisions during the scope of this project. The award for this contract will be based on the lowest, most responsive responsible bidder. Dare County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in accordance with North Carolina General Statutes.
