The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for Window Alarms at our Scottsville IRA located at 724 North Road, Scottsville, NY 14546. This bid is an OGS Contract Bid under Group 77201 Intelligent Facility & Security Systems and Solutions Award 23150. Contractor will be responsible for mandatory site visit to take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:00 am to verify knowledge of the area for which service is being requested prior to bid submission. Bids will not be accepted from vendors that do not attend this site visit. Summary of Work: Installing Window Alarm System throughout Residence on all windows. This is a NYS public works project and prevailing wages must be paid. DESCRIPTION:(Installation of Window alarms on all windows Throughout House.). The vendor shall have 5 years satisfactory experience installing window alarm systems. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Window System Installation, before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Provide a control unit with display screen for automation devices. 2. Provide 24 Window alarms 3. Provide all necessary wiring, connections and adjustments to make the system operational. 4. System will local only (no Monitored system) with alarm 5. Instructions for operation and programming of the system shall be provide 6. This project is to start within 2 weeks of receipt of PO. Work to be completed within 30 days from receipt of the purchase order. 7. This installation shall be done by technician proficient, knowledgeable and certified in Codes and Practices.
