Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Goodland, Kansas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a conference / convention center.

The project budget is between $900,000 – 1 million. Project Description: 1. The Project consists of the the remodel of the Price Convention Center, formerly known as the Elks Lodge Building. The project scope entails updating interior finishes including new flooring, paint, wall protection, ceiling, light fixtures, casework, ADA restrooms, exterior paint, and installation of a fire sprinkler system.. Construction Contract: Stipulated Sum Single Prime Contract Bids will be received for the Work. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. The successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to Liquidated Damages at the rate of $350.00 per day. Contractors licensed in the City of Goodland and the State of Kansas, in good standing and able to provide required insurance and bonding will be allowed to bid the project. Sub-Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment (31 U.S.C. 1352) - Contractors that apply or bid for an award exceeding $100,000 must file the required certification. Each tier certifies to the tier above that it will not and has not used Federal appropriated funds to pay any person or organization for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a member of Congress, officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a member of Congress in connection with obtaining any Federal contract, grant or any other award covered by 31 U.S.C. 1352. Each tier must also disclose any lobbying with non-Federal funds that takes place in connection with obtaining any Federal award. SAM Exclusions contains the names of parties debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded by agencies, as well as parties declared ineligible under statutory or regulatory authority other than Executive Order 12549. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
