Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

The project will include the following approximate quantities: 3,450 lineal feet of Sanitary Sewer 4,960 lineal feet of Water Main 1,150 lineal feet of HDPE Water Main Directionally Drilled 2,600 lineal feet of Storm Sewer 6,200 lineal feet of Concrete Curb & Gutter 3,000 square yards of Concrete Walk 12,540 square yards of Bituminous Pavement 5,400 square yards of Turf Establishment 7,800 lineal feet of Preform Tape 1 Complete Traffic Signal System 1 Complete Street Light System No bid will be considered unless it is securely sealed in an envelope and filed with the City prior to the time noted above for the closing of the bids. All bids must be presented on the standard bid form attached to and made a part of the proposed contract documents as prepared by the City Engineer. Proposals arriving after the designated time will be returned, unopened Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bidders bond, payable to the City of Robbinsdale, Minnesota in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid, conditioned that if the bidder is the successful bidder, he will enter into a contract in accordance with said bid and will furnish such performance bonds as are specified. No bidder may withdraw his bid for at least 30 days after the scheduled opening of the bids, without the consent of the City Council of the City of Robbinsdale. In order to help determine responsibility, contractors will be required to complete a Contractor Questionnaire, which must be submitted in a separate envelope and attached to the exterior of the bid envelope. Bid will not be opened if questionnaire is not attached to exterior of bid envelope. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein.
