Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 90,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
The project will provide industrial and healthcare work force education and training to employers of South-Central Tennessee in a state-of-the-art facility on the existing Co SCC campus. The facility will house the Co SCC Health Science and Engineering Systems Technology programs along with certain Industrial Technology programs from TCAT Hohenwald and TCAT After construction is complete, the existing Health Sciences Building, Walter Building, and the Small Animal Holdings Buildings will be demolished. Spaces will include, but not limited to, high bay labs, classrooms, teaching labs, student space, offices, and support spaces. As of April 17, 2025 construction is underway. All subtrades haven been awarded. Construction will be complete in July 2026.
