Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Harriman, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the construction of a 39,000-square-foot educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and for the renovation of a 19,833-square-foot educational facility.

This project will construct a community college classroom building and the related site modifications. The project will consist of an addition on the east side of the existing facility. The spaces in the addition will include classrooms, administrative and faculty offices, a testing center, a multipurpose space with a catering kitchen, science labs, and nursing labs. The existing building will be renovated to include an IPCT lab, computer labs, classrooms, a receiving area, and a library. The construction is anticipated to require an initial phase to construct the addition and a second phase to renovate the existing building. The college will maintain operation in the existing building during the initial phase and will relocate to the addition during the renovation of the existing building. New bldg will be 39,700 gross square feet and renovation of existing 19,833 S.F. This facility will house students and staff for Roane State Community College as well as TCAT Oneida/Huntsville. Spaces will include high bay spaces for auto/diesel mechanics, manufacturing technology and building construction technology, laboratory spaces for allied health and a multipurpose wet lab, computer labs, general classrooms, offices, community room, and associated support spaces. Full site development will also be a part of the project with access road, parking, walkways, landscaping, and utilities. The new building is anticipated to be approximately 47,000 gross square feet (approximately 32,720 assignable square feet).
