Renovation of a municipal facility in Toano, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
All questions pertaining to this project should be directed to Jessica Yost, Senior Procurement Specialist no later than 2:00 p.m. April 21, 2023, in writing via e-mail: jessica.yost@jamescitycountyva.gov. The project is generally described as the renovation of the existing DMV office. The work includes renovations to the existing building, selective demolition, finishes, new partitions, casework, doors and frames, hardware, network infrastructure, mechanical, and electrical power and lighting systems. Liquidated Damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for failure to meet the schedule for Substantial Completion or Final Completion. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive informalities in the Bid, to reject any/or all Bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder should Bid exceed available funds.
