Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tifton, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The City of Tifton is seeking sealed proposals for the construction of the project entitled Commerce Way Redevelopment Streetscape Improvements. The project consists of (but is not limited to) streetscape improvements such as concrete pavement, sidewalks, ADA ramps, landscaping steps & walls, and high-visibility crosswalks, as well storm drainage improvements, asphalt paving, traffic striping & signage, erosion control, traffic control, and other miscellaneous items/work. Utility improvements proposed within the project area will be provided through a separate contract No proposal may be withdrawn after the closing time for a period of sixty (60) days. These improvements generally include (noted on plans): o New Water Line and Storm Drainage relocation along Goodrich Alley o Demolition of existing pavement along Goodrich Alley and construction of new temporary driving surface o Water Line relocation along Commerce Way Bidder/contractor for the Streetscape project (this RFP) shall be expected to coordinate schedules with the contractor performing the Utility project (separate contract). Anticipated Notice of Award 05/15/2023 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to the City. The person submitting the request shall do so in writing and be responsible for its prompt delivery. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Cityin response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Cityas having received the bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding.
