Supply Maintenance Rock for Dubuque County as per attached specifications. Each district is a separate and distinct project. The contractor may bid any or all districts. The contractor shall supply rock for all designated roads within the district that is being bid. A certified check or a cashier's check made payable to either the County or the contractor, drawn upon a solvent bank, or a bid bond or proposal guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid, shall be filed with each proposal. A cashier's check, made payable to the contractor, shall contain an unqualified endorsement to the County, signed by the contractor or an authorized agent of the contractor The contractor shall supply weight tickets that shall document the type of material, weight and roadway that the material is being delivered to. NOTE: Ticket weights shall be printed on an electronic printing machine. No splitweighing allowed. Tare tickets need to be provided to Dubuque County along with weight tickets. Trucks are required to obtain a new tare ticket for each day and for each quarry material is hauled from.
