Flooring Project Various Sites The work herein shall include all materials and labor necessary to install designated carpet, floor tile, reducer, and rubber cove base. When necessary, the removal of all existing floor covering, existing adhesives, shall be included in this work. Color selection to be made by Owner. - All existing base shall be replaced with new 4" cove base of molded rubber. Color selection to be made by Owner and must complement the color of the carpeting. All existing reducer and transition strips shall be replaced with new. These shall be of molded rubber; color selection to be made by the owner. At all areas where Carpet meets resilient flooring, the contractor shall install specified transitions. - All Schools 1. Remove and haul away all existing flooring and base. 2. Install specified flooring per manufacturer's instructions using manufacturer's specified adhesives and will require all seams to be welded. Material must be delivered and acclimated a minimum of 48 hours prior to installation. All cutting and fitting to be done inside to reduce the chances of material expansion and contraction. 3. All carpeted areas to receive integrally welded Abrasive Action ll at all exterior entryways. No walk off mats or squares will be allowed.
