As of June 19, 2023 , project was awarded to but awarded amount is not available. The City of Frisco (the "City") is accepting Competitive Sealed Bids for Water Valves and Hydrants. All fire hydrants must be equipped with one (1) 4" main steamer and two (2) 2.5" steamers.Acceptable brands are Waterous and American Darling, or approved equivalent. All valves are required to have a non-rising brass stem, resilient wedge, and open counterclockwise fusion epoxy coating. Acceptable brands are Mueller, M&H, Waterous, Pro Select and Tyler Union as listed in the Bid Tab, or approved equivalent. To request consideration of an alternate product, the request should be made in writing to the Frisco Purchasing Division prior to the question deadline for this bid. The City may accept or reject approved equivalents at its sole discretion. If any substitute items are approved, a revised bid form will be provided after the question deadline.
