To bid on this project and be considered a plan holder, the Bidder MUST download the digital project bidding documents from Blueprints Etc. and pay the download delivery fee. Neither owner nor engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than Blueprint Etc. Sealed Bid Documents shall be marked in the lower left-hand corner: "Bid Documents: Williston Road Pedestrian Crossings". Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount of 5% of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS. Bids submitted by bidders that exceed their Maximum Dollar Capacity Rating (MDCR) as determined by the Vermont Agency of Transportation on an annual basis may be considered non-responsive. LOCATION: The Williston Road Pedestrian Crossings project limits will include approximately 2,370 linear feet on Williston Road from the intersection of Pine Tree Terrace and Davis Parkway to Mills Avenue. The first crosswalk is located just east of the intersection of Pine Tree Terrace and Davis Parkway and the second crosswalk is located west of Mills Ave. TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION: Work to be performed under this project includes: Two new pedestrian crossings, pedestrian refuge islands, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, new sidewalk, ADA compliant pedestrian curb ramps, and improved geometry at curb corners to improve pedestrian safety. CONTRACT COMPLETION DATE: The Contract shall be completed on or before September 29, 2023. ENGINEERS ESTIMATE: For this Proposal the Engineers Estimate falls between $600,000 and $650,000. PREBID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: This contract is governed by the Vermont Agency of Transportation ("VTrans") 2018 Standard Specifications for Construction.
