Site work and new construction of a conference / convention center in Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a conference / convention center; and for site work for a conference / convention center.

The consultant shall provide facility planning, design and construction phase services for a new 3,000 - 5,000 SF community Civic Center to provide flexible, highly functional meeting and event space. The Center will be located on city-owned property and the exterior façade shall match the unique hill country theme of the municipal campus. Kitchen and restroom facilities to support events and meetings are necessary, and an outdoor seating area is desired. Some of the potential uses for the facility include, but are not limited to, the following: City Council meetings Commission/Board/Committee meetings Municipal Court FORHA/HOA meetings Townhall meetings Voting Location Local business or civic organizations Private events – anniversaries, receptions, etc. Other Currently, an unoccupied building sits on the preferred site location which is bordered by Dietz Elkhorn Rd, Chartwell Lane and Boots Gaubatz Way. The project may consist of full or partial demolition of the existing structure to accommodate future Civic Center improvements. All utilities, including electric, water, wastewater, cable and telecom are available at this site. Other site locations may be explored as part of the facility planning phase. The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the scope of work related to this project as outlined in this RFQ after a firm is selected to accommodate changes in the needs of the City and serve the best interests of the City. Provide one-page professional resumes as an Appendix to the Statement of Qualifications (not included in the four-page maximum page count for this section) that describe the capabilities and experience of each team member, and include the team member’s name, photo, title, education, licenses, certifications, professional associations, and overview of professional experience.
