Reference Number: 0000315939 The City of Louisville ("the City") is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors ("Respondents") to work with City staff and provide Park and Playground Enhancements at Joe Carnival, Enclave, Meadows and Sunflower parks. The City intends to contract Construction Management (CM) services with an option to negotiate General Contractor (GC) services following design development. The Construction Manager / General Contractor (CM/GC) delivery method is intended to continuously inform the project approach, scope, cost and timing to best manage stakeholderexpectations, increase efficiency and ensure successful delivery within schedule and budget. The exact scope of work for each of the four parks will be determined through a collaborative process involving citizens, staff, design consultants and the selected CM/GC relative to the City's allocated budget. Examples of potential work at each park are: replacing playground equipment and furnishings (Meadows), playground equipment and irrigation (Joe Carnival), enhancing circulation, furnishings and features (Sunflower) and comprehensive reconstruction (Enclave). General landscape, planting and/or irrigation work is assumed for each park.
