Interior Wall Paint The Dallas Independent School District's Construction Services projects have a 30% Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) construction goal. The proper abatement, transportation, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials located throughout the school building. All materials shall be removed using wet removal methods and negative pressure techniques. All abated areas shall be encapsulated with a coat of spray encapsulant. Any areas with remaining suspect debris shall be decontaminated. The Consultant will provide air testing on the work site. These tests may include, but are not limited to: background testing; work area samples; barrier samples; outside air samples; and clearance testing. All testing will be conducted by individuals trained in the NIOSH 582 course on Sampling and Evaluation of Airborne Asbestos Dusts and proficient participant in the NIOSH Proficiency Analytical Testing program. Only wet-removal procedures shall be utilized. Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the owners or consultants property as a result of the work activities. The damage shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the owner. All work will be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory requirements and guidelines.
