The city of santa clara is seeking quotes from qualified contractors (bidders) to provide all labor, equipment, and materials to install a new fence at civic center park as specified herein in support of the parks & recreation department. The city will issue a purchase order to the successful bidder. Minimum qualifications. The bidder (or principal) must meet the following minimum qualifications. Bids that fail to meet the minimum qualifications will be considered non-responsive and disqualified from further consideration. 1) possess a valid state of california contractor's license class ''c-13, fencing contractor". License must be in the bidder's or principal's name. Bidder shall include a copy of their valid license with their submitted bid. 2) bidder (including any subcontractors) must be registered with the department of industrial relations (dir) prior to submitting its bid, pursuant to california labor code section 1725.5. Bidder shall include a copy of their current registration with dir with their bid submittal. General instructions: 1) see attached scope of services and/or related documents for details. 2) please refer to the rfq instructions document and any other attached documents. 3) submit all response documents online through bidsync, including electronic attachments if applicable, and/or through the "vendor notes for offer" function. The city will not accept hardcopy response documents. 4) final award shall be contingent upon selected firm (contractor) accepting the city's po terms and conditions Submission requirements: 1) copy of valid state of california contractor's license. 2) copy of current dir registration. 3) include a cost breakdown for you bid submittal. Post award submittal requirements: The successful contractor will be required to provide the following requirements and must be provided within five calendar days of notification of award or as stated otherwise: 1) insurance 2) labor compliance addendum 3) payment bond (100% of contract amount 4) valid city of santa clara business tax certificate.
