No start and end date. The Town of Brighton, Kenosha County is seeking proposals for repaving 41st Street beginning at the intersection with CTK "B" (288th Avenue) and continuing east to Town Road. Also, repaving Town Road from its beginning (approximately .75 miles east of CTK "B" (288th Ave) ) to its end at CTK "NN" (52nd St) (1.22 miles) approx. 1.97 miles CTK "B" to CTK "NN") Also, repaving 301st Avenue from CTK "NN" (52nd St) north including cul-de-sac (approx. 0.38 mile. ) but excluding 49th Street. Pulverize to a depth of 6 inches; fine grade and compact existing asphalt pavement to utilize as base for a new pavement cross-section. . Undercut one foot below sub grade any areas that fail during proof roll . Geo grid to be placed with 3 inch stone with 1.25 inch TB top coat to sub grade . Construct a two-course 3.5 inch asphalt pavement in the roadway area above consisting of a 2 inch binder course and a 1.5 inch surface course. . Provide tack coat between lifts of asphalt. . Install a one foot wide and 4 inch depth, limestone shoulder on each side of the new roadway. . Paint 4" yellow centerlines (passing and no passing zones as current) and 4" white shoulder striping Proposals must be addressed to Town of Brighton, P.O. BOX 249, Kansasville, WI 53139. Proposals must include a Certificate of Insurance. The Town Board of Brighton reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. Unless the proposals are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive submitter. Wisconsin Dept. of Workforce Development excludes towns under 2,500 in population from requiring a prevailing wage rate determination on projects with an estimated cost of less than $234,000
