Reference number: 1709868 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-04-18 University of Quebec in Montreal hereinafter named the Owner, having its head office at 1430, rue Saint-Denis, H2X 3J8, Montreal, Quebec, is requesting tenders for the renovation of the entire mechanical room J-4965 of the Judith-Jasmin Pavilion and its electromechanical systems which are at the end of their useful life. The existing systems are from the original construction of the building in 1978. The Judith-Jasmin pavilion is located at 405 Rue Sainte-Catherine E, in Montreal. The work includes in particular: -Replacement of the exterior metal siding, creation of temporary openings in the walls for temporary mechanical equipment during the work, repair of the exterior envelope after the mechanical work following the temporary openings, interventions in the roofing and flashing systems for structural work, painting work and the installation of a ladder and railing on the roof; -The mechanical and electrical work mainly concerns the replacement of the ventilation systems U-142, U-143, U-144, U-146 and U-147, the cleaning of all the ventilation ducts kept in the mechanical room, the dismantling of the U-145 system as well as the installation of a clean steam network for humidification. In order to limit service cuts, the work will be carried out in several phases with a temporary ventilation unit. -Structural work allowing replacement of ventilation units and renovation of boiler rooms; Removal of materials contaminated with asbestos, fungal decontamination and work in crystalline silica conditions. -Improved commissioning.
