The City of Meridian "City" is soliciting qualifications from prospective Licensed General Contractors per Idaho Code 67-2805 (b) to bid on the construction project described in the Scope of Work. Intent to Bid by Apr 13, 2023 4:00 PM MDT. The City of Meridian Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Aeration Basin (AB) 1-4 Retrofit and 9-10 Upgrade Project includes retrofitting of existing AB's 1 through 4 and expanding treatment capacity by constructing AB 9 and 10. The project also includes a new blower building, Secondary Pump Station and Primary Clarifier 3/4 Splitter Box re-coating, and providing a redundant elutriation water supply. This project will involve improvements related to the following WRRF processes and site features: New buried yard piping conveyance in the area of the existing AB 1-4, AB 9-10, and the new blower building to supply the process facilities and buildings. New site improvements, grading and utilities Retrofit AB 1-4 (new concrete structure within existing structure, new piping, electrical, controls, and appurtenances) New AB 9-10 Secondary Pump Station and Primary Clarifier 3/4 Splitter Box re-coating Repurposing existing buried piping for a redundant elutriation water supply. Demolition of existing and construction of a new blower building and blowers to service AB's 1-4 and RAS/WAS Station 2 classifying selector zone.
