Furnish and Install a Scoreboard, Backboards & Wall & Door Padding at Carrolltowne Elementary School, 6542 Ridge Road, Sykesville, MD 21784. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing all necessary materials, labor, tools, equipment, supervision, insurance, permits, and services required to furnish, deliver, and install the outlined requirements, all in accordance with the attached terms, specifications, and general conditions. On-site work will be coordinated with the Assistant Supervisor of Plant Operations (contract administrator) to be completed by August 11, 2023. Normal working hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Weekend and/or overtime work to accommodate the contractor may be authorized and any such work shall be at the contractor's expense. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder meeting the specifications and complying with all the provisions of this solicitation. The Board of Education of Carroll County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received whenever such rejections or waivers are in the best interest of Carroll County Public Schools. Carroll County Public Schools shall be the sole judge as to whether items meet specifications or are an approved equal. The Board of Education of Carroll County also reserves the right to reject the bid of a bidder who has previously failed to perform properly or complete on time contracts of a similar nature, or the bid of a bidder which investigation shows is not in a position to perform the contract.
