THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1333MG-23-Q-00635 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-02. The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Service (NOS) has a requirement for Preventative Maintenance and Inspections of Three Elevators at the NOAA Hollings Marine Laboratory, Charleston SC. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. All services rendered shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work and Service Contract Act, Wage Determination No. 2015-4427 Rev 23, Date of Last Rev. 12/27/2022. This requirement will be for a one-year base period, with four one-year option periods. The base year period of performance will be August 15, 2023 - August 14, 2024. Site Visit Offerors are strongly encouraged (but not required) to conduct a site visit to review all existing conditions affecting the requirements in this statement of work, and to familiarize themselves with site constraints, and conditions for purposes of formulating quotes. It is the Contractor's responsibility to confirm existing conditions and evaluate requirements listed in the Statement of Work herein. The Contractor must confirm accuracy of any and all dimensions. Failure to determine existing conditions will not be considered a basis for granting additional compensation.
