Bids will be accepted from Bidders who do not attend the pre-bid conference.The Project generally consists of the following Work: Grading of the tank site, installation of foundation for the tank, and construction of the welded, steel storage tank. The Project shall include all excavation, subgrade preparation, engineered fill installation, steel tank construction, and appurtenances necessary to complete the Work in accordance with the Project plans and specifications. Additional improvements as shown on the Drawings and noted in the specifications shall be required. The Work is expected to be substantially complete in 150 days and ready for final payment in 180 days. The Owner understands and will work with Contractors regarding longer than usual lead times as necessary.Further requirements regarding Bid Submittal and qualifications are in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest, responsive, and responsible Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to waive irregularities or informalities in any Bid. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. The Owner reserves the right to hold any or all Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening.
