The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to provide open-ended, on-call Spot Litter Pick-up services for roadways under the purview of the Prince Frederick Maintenance Shop. Work activities include Spot Litter Pick-up of medians and roadsides at various locations. This Contract is not subject to the Living Wage Law Rates. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. The sole point of contact for purposes of this IFB is Lona Drake who may be contacted at telephone number 410-535-1748 between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. or by FAX 410-535-1564 No pre-bid meeting will be held for this advertisement. All questions must be submitted to the Procurement Officer no later than April 14, 2023, at 10:00A.M. local time. Any information regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents shall be requested, in writing, and delivered no later than this date and time. Each request for information or questions shall include the Contract number and the name and address of the originator. The duration of the initial contract is one (1) year, or until all contract funds have been exhausted. An additional one (1) year option may be executed at the discretion of the Administration.
