The following is a summary of the project. The purpose of this project is to provide for sewer cleaning and condition assessment, identify rehabilitation needs, and complete the design for rehabilitation construction for 24.2 miles of existing sewer from Power Road to the Western Canal (in the City of Tempe). These sewers convey flow to the Sub-Regional Operating Group (SROG) 91st Avenue Water Reclamation Plant for treatment. From Greenfield Road to Price Road there are two (2) sewer interceptors in parallel, with existing diversion structures to divert sewer flow from one to another. The two (2) interceptors merge at the intersection of Baseline Road and Price Road. The condition assessment and rehabilitation will be performed to all the assets on these sewers, including gravity sewer mains, the inverted siphon at the Price Freeway (AZ-101), manholes and diversion structures. The required tasks will be reviewed with the selected Design Consultant and defined to meet the needs of the project as part of the contract scopingand Price Road.
