The County reserves the right without prejudice to reject any or all statements of qualifications submitted, to waive any non-material irregularities or informalities in any RFQ, to accept, or reject any item or combination of items and to request additional clarification of statement of qualifications. If activities related to the performance of this Agreement require specific licenses, certifications, or related credentials Consultant represents that it and/or its employees, agents and sub-consultants engaged in such activities possess such licenses, certifications, or credentials and that such licenses certifications, or credentials are, current, active, and not in a state of suspension or revocation. Compile and Review Existing Data – Consultant shall research, identify, gather, field verify, compile and review existing data relating to the TGB WTP treatment process and water quality. Evaluate the efficacy of adding pretreatment chlorine dioxide, repurposing the Magnetic Ion Exchange (MIEX) system to another resin system, adding BAC/GAC treatment, and up to two other technologies in response the to the stated objectives. Provide a life-cycle cost analysis of each alternative studied to include the responsible disposal/destruction of the waste stream of each technology. Deliverable – comprehensive report suitable for use as a basis of design report and a preliminary engineering report Conduct bench scale testing of the recommended treatment process(es) to determine the optimal level of chemical addition and confirm efficacy Conduct a corrosion control study meeting EPA’s Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment Evaluation Technical Recommendations and NC DEQ requirement for Optimal Corrosion Control Treatment. Deliverable – comprehensive report detailing the means and methods used with results and any necessary update to the Phase 1 deliverable report. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
