Site work and paving for a civil project in Blair, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contractors on the Project shall be subject to Section 66.0903 of the Wisconsin Statutes pertaining to municipal wage scales and Federal Davis-Bacon wage rates. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. Use of American Iron and Steel: The Contract requires the use of American Iron and Steel products. Iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. Contractor will be required to provide Owner documentation of the use of American Iron and Steel. The Owner encourages MBEs, WBEs, and SBRAs to submit Bid proposals. The City of Blair reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
