This SIR/RFP is being posted in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management Policy, Section 3.2.1.3.11 Public Announcements.

This requirement is for a Re-Roof of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) Cab and Walkway at the Salina Municipal Airport (SLN) in Salina, KS. The FAA is exempt from state and local taxes; this exemption, however, does not pass through to the contractor. The contractor therefore will be responsible for all state, local, and other applicable taxes. All contractors must have an active registration in SAM (sam.gov) in order to receive award. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside under NAICS Code: 238160-Roofing Contractors Small Business Size Standard: $19M The estimated Project Magnitude is between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00. All questions regarding this SIR should be submitted in writing to Erin Crabtree at erin.m.crabtree@faa.gov. Questions are due no later than May 12, 2023 at 3:00p.m. CT.
Proposals are due no later than June 02, 2023 at 3:00p.m. CT. Any proposal received after 3:00p.. CT on June 02, 2023 will be considered non-responsive and deemed ineligible for award.
To be considered for award of this requirement, the offeror must have a current/valid registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database website: www.sam.gov.
To be eligible for award, the offeror must submit a proposal that is in accordance with Section L and Section M of this SIR. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
