Site work for a water / sewer project in Angleton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Each RFP shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%). All inquiries about this RFP must be submitted in writing to Hector Renteria, Assistant Director of Public Works at hrenteria@angleton.tx.us prior to April 13, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. This project scope will be for the replacement of a potable water line via open cut, and/or trenchless methods. This will include furnishing materials necessary, the installation of a new 8" C900 water line, 2 new fire hydrants, 18 service connections (9 short and 9 long), and abandonment of the existing potable water line. This will include all necessary valves, connections, and all other necessary materials according to City of Angleton standards. The location of this project is on Wimberly Street. The current line is a 2" cast iron line that is no longer performing. The length of this line is approximately 1,150'. The City of Angleton reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality.
