The proposed project, detailed in the construction plans and specifications, is generally described as: Expand Apron: Enclose Stream and Initial Grading at the Indy South Greenwood Airport. The successful bidder will be required to pay laborers, workmen, mechanics and other employees on the work under this contract not less than the prevailing wage for each craft, trade or occupation as established under the Davis-Bacon Act The Greenwood Board of Aviation Commissioners, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that in all its activities within the scope of its airport program, the bidders or offerors agree to comply with pertinent statutes, Executive Orders, and such rules as identified in Title VI List of Pertinent Nondiscrimination Acts and Authorities to ensure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability be excluded from participating in any activity conducted with or benefiting from Federal assistance. Bid Bond, Performance & Payment Bonds. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Greenwood Board of Aviation Commissioners, or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid proposal. Contractors awarded a contract will be required to furnish acceptable performance and payment surety bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract price. The guarantee period of performance shall extend for one (1) year from the date of final acceptance of the work by the Owner. Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity.
