As of April 24, 2023, project was awarded to A lamp Concrete contractors inc, awarded amount is $1,398,960.99. Approximately 1,700 feet of storm sewer installation; 300 feet of storm sewer removal; 3,900 square yards of asphalt roadway reconstruction; driveway removal and replacement; and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, cashier's check or certified check payable to the order of the City of Warrenville, Illinois, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, as a guaranty that the bidder will execute the contract, if it is awarded, in conformity with the bid form. A current IDOT Certificate of Eligibility shall also be provided with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds on forms provided in the Specifications and Contract Documents, each in an amount equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The Owner expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the one that appears to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner expressly reserves the right to waive any informalities or technical irregularities in a bid if to do so is in the best interest of the Owner. Bid proposals submitted from Bidders that did not obtain the Bidding and Contract Documents directly from BHFX Plan Room (in electronic or paper copy form) will not be accepted. The City Council will determine the successful bidder.
