The MDOT State Highway Administration is soliciting bids for a contractor to establish an elevator service contract with Maryland State Highway Administration's Cambridge Shop. Work to be performed will be routine inspections and maintenance on the elevator at the Sailwinds Visitor Center located at 2 Rose Hill Place, and the MDOT State Highway Administration Maintenance Office Complex located at 2954 Old US 50 Cambridge MD 21613. The goal of this contract is to keep the elevators in normal working condition and keep the elevator operable according to Maryland DLLR regulations and within the manufacturer's prescribed specifications. SHA expects this contract to begin June 15th, 2023, and end June 14th, 2026. The contract with the successful bidder will be written not to exceed 3 years or the low bid amount that is under $50,000.00 Any information regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents shall be requested, in writing, and delivered prior to May 1st 2023. Responses to questions or inquiries having any material effect on the bids shall be made by written addenda sent to all prospective bidders. The Administration will not respond to telephone requests for information concerning this invitation for bids that would materially affect the bid.
