In an effort to increase energy efficiency, the City of Grand Junction, in collaboration with Xcel Energy, completed an energy audit to identify energy efficiency opportunities that will aid the City in reducing energy cost and consumption. As a result of the audit, the City of Grand Junction is to replace or retrofit various lighting in twenty-two (22) buildings owned or managed by the City to LED lighting.
