The following specifications represent the scope of work to be completed and represent the minimum standards accepted for this work: o Mobilize to job site and set up equipment, barricades, flagging and safety per OSHA requirements. o Roof assemblies and rooftop structures per the 2018 International Building Code requirements chapter 15 (refoofing). o Remove the top layer of EPDM rubber, 1/2 inch cover board and bottom layer of EPDM rubber roofing while leaving base layer of Polyiso insulation in place. o Examine left in place insulation and replace any wet insulation at unit cost. o If deteriorated decking is found while replacing wet insulation, replace at unit cost. o Attach 2.5 inch Polyiso insulation, bringing roof R-value up to R-30. o Install .060 TPO membrane roof utilizing induction welding. o Flash penetrations and up, over walls. o Fabricate and install from standard colors, 24 gage edge metal, scuppers, and counterflashing. o Provide 20-year manufacture warranty against leaks, covering labor and materials Any and all questions on this project should be directed to Byron Ray at 423-315-4255 or bray@eastridgetn.gov. The City of East Ridge is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of the roof of the City Hall Complex; specifically, the portion of the roof covering the Municipal Court and the Council Chambers and comprising approximately 4,560 square feet. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site and take their own measurements.
