*Award subject to final approval Reference number : 1710708 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-04-21 Submission sent electronically accepted: No construction works The Office municipal d'habitation de Mékinac, also known as the contractor, is requesting tenders for work on the exterior envelope and other related work to be carried out on the building located at 80, rue du Moulin, in the municipality of St-Adelphe, under a fixed price contract. The duration of the work will be approximately three (3) weeks. CONDITIONS: Only general contractors or contractors specializing in this type of work who have an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and who possess the required license under the Building Act (RSQ, c. B-1.1) are authorized to bid. The contractual documents must be obtained through the Electronic Tendering System, at a cost determined by them. Consult the website www.seao.ca or contact one of its representatives by phone at 1 866 669-7326 or 514 856-660 General contractors and subcontractors will obtain all information by contacting: Ms. Annabelle Allard, building technician, at the following telephone number: 819 378-5438 or by email: aallard@omhtr.ca . TENDER GUARANTEE: In the form of a surety bond by authorized company, equivalent to: 10% of the bid amount or a certified cheque, a money order, a bank draft payable to the order of the applicant for the work (OMH Mékinac) , an irrevocable letter of guarantee in favor of the said applicant or bonds payable to bearer. These must be issued or guaranteed by the government of Quebec or Canada and the term must not exceed five years. The value of these bonds must be equivalent to 5% of the amount of the tender and be valid for 60 days from the deadline for submission of tenders. The guarantee must be annexed to the tender. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR: Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, with regard to their competence, their solvency and the content of their tender. They must inform them of the conditions of the submission and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses.
