Description: The Work generally consists of the following approximate quantities: 16 EACH Pull Boxes Non-Conductive 37 EACH Concrete Bases 65,000 LF Electrical Wire Lighting 2 EACH Lighting Control Cabinets 11,200 LF Conduit HDPE Directional Bore 2 EACH Install Village Furnished Electrical Service Meter Breaker Pedestal 37 EACH Install Village Furnished Lighting Unit Bids will be received on a unit price basis. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashiers check as bid security, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Village of Jackson as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of Contract. Should any bid be rejected, such bid security will be forthwith returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such bid bond or check will be returned upon the timely and proper execution and securing of the Contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute the Contract and Performance Bond, the amount of the bid bond or check shall be forfeited to the Village of Jackson as liquidated damages. Contractor is required to submit the Bidder's Prequalification Statement to the Engineer a minimum of 3 business days prior to the bid opening. The Village of Jackson reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in bidding, or accept the bid(s) which serves the best interest of the Village.
