Demolition and site work for a multi-residential development in Wayne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.

Each proposal must be made upon the prescribed forms furnished with the contract specifications. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, provided said check or bond not exceed $20,000.00. Each Bid Deposit must be uploaded via the Vendor Questionnaire. A. Each successful bidder shall be required to comply with all provisions of the New Jersey prevailing local wages as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. B. Per N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51 no contractor shall bid on any contract for public work as defined in section 2 of P.L.1963, c. 150 (C.34:11-56.26) unless the contractor is registered pursuant to this act. C. Per N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 successful bidder must have a registered Business Registration Certificate (BRC) with the State of New Jersey prior to contract award. D. Per N.J.S.A. 52:25 24.2 (P.L. 1977, c.33, as amended by P.L. 2016, c.43) bidders must provide their Ownership Disclosure Certification with the name(s) and address(es) of any owner, stockholder, or partner holding an interest of 10% or more of said business with bid proposal, failure to provide the same is a non-waivable defect. The Township of Wayne currently owns the following properties located within the Township of Wayne, County of Passaic, New Jersey, known and designated as: Street Program Block Lot 26 South Road HMGP 4086 3502 2 This bid requires the demolition and proper disposal of the dwelling unit(s) and associated sheds, complete with footings and or slabs/basements/crawl spaces, closing of all wells, pumping and filling of all septic systems, cesspools, pools, removal and testing of aboveground and/or underground storage tanks, and disconnecting of all utilities. This bid also requires grading and seeding of the property where the structures were located to meet the natural contour of the surrounding of land and to protect from potential erosion. 2. Bidders must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of bid award. Awarded bidder must maintain SAM through the termination of the contract. The work covered under this contract shall meet the requirements as prescribed by municipal, county, state, and federal regulations pertaining to demolition projects similar to this one. 4. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for ensuring that all work done in furtherance of this contract is in accordance with applicable federal, state, county, and municipal regulations. 5. Successful Bidder must file for demolition permits with the Township within five (5) Working Days of execution of contract with Township. Notice to Proceed will be issued for each individual property for the Demolition of said property, once the Township issues the permit for demolition. Demolition work on the individual property must be completed no later thanforty-five (45) Working Days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Working Days shall be defined as Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., Sundays and holidays excepted. Extension of the forty-five (45) Working Days demolition time frame may be granted by written request to the Designated Project Manager. Extensions shall only be granted for reasons beyond the control of the Contractor such as extreme inclement weather or other reasons deemed beyond the control of the Contractor by the Township. If an extension is granted, and the contractor does not meet the extension, a financial penalty can be required from the date of the original deadline. 6. Any questions pertaining to the project, including but not limited to the scope of work and contractor responsibilities, shall be delivered in writing to the DPM no later than 12:00 PM (noon) on the date specified in the Project Schedule. 7. All additional work such as site restoration, submission of Contractor's inventory and submission and approval of Contractor's Final Report shall be completed no later than ten (10) Working Days following completion of the demolition portion of work 8. Any contractor accumulating two (2) "unsatisfactory service" notices in a sixty (60) day period may be dismissed within ten (10) days of receipt of a contract cancellation notice from the Township of Wayne. 9. Pre-demolition notice to adjoining property owners shall be given by the awarded Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible to inform the Township of Wayne Point of Contact at least one (1) week, i.e. 7 calendar days, prior to the approximate start date of the demolition work. 10. Contractor shall coordinate all pre-demolition business within five (5) Working Days of Notice of Award. 11. The Contractor shall check in each day with the Wayne Police Department to inform them what houses your crew will be working on that day. This is necessary to ensure that all sites are secure at all times. 12. The Contractor shall confirm whether or not there is any (UST) under ground storage tanks. If there is confirmed to be a UST the Contractor shall remove from the ground before the demolition of the structure. On the day of removal of an UST the Contractor shall secure an inspection personnel to be present before, during, and after any UST is lifted as witness to the removal. 13. Contractor shall provide weekly written status updates with the Township's DPM. 14. Contractor shall provide a list of designated Project Foreman prior to the Notice to Proceed. A Project Forman shall be on site during all hours of operation at the worksite. 15. There shall be no dragging of equipment on roadways. Proper moving devices (i.e. Rollers, treads, etc.) must be utilized at all times to avoid any and all damage or scaring to roadways. Any damage to the roadway, tressels, bridge, etc. shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to repair under the direction of the Township Engineering Division. 16. Contract prices for demolition shall be held for the entire length of this project. No price escalation shall be charged or will be entertained by the Township
