The City seeks to award a contract to provide demolition of existing chemical room exhaust duct system(s) and installation of new chemical room exhaust duct systems(s) and all associated components and services per the project plans and specifications at the Aquatic and Recreation Center, 8750 El Tovar Place, West Hollywood, CA 90069. Contractors shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, overhead and profit, and incidentals, as required, to accomplish the work in accordance with the City's contract requirements/specifications. General work includes: demolition of existing chemical room(s) exhaust duct systems; and installation of new chemical room exhaust system(s) per the plans and specifications. The Contractor shall coordinate any closures of building space with the City Representative and provide advance notice of closures not-less-than 10 business days prior to commencing the closures. Additional site walkthrough note: Prospective bidders are responsible to fully acquaint themselves with the conditions of the City of West Hollywood as well as those relating to the construction and labor of the Project; to fully understand the facilities, difficulties and restrictions which may impact the total and adequate completion of the Project. Any questions addressing the interpretation or clarification of the Bid Forms or the Bid Documents must be submitted no later than Monday, April 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. through the City's electronic submission process. Duration: 90 CALENDAR DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF PROJECT; an additional 15 calendar days for completion of Punch List items.
