Asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Roma, Texas. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.

Questions regarding this RFP must be submitted via the ionwave system online no later than (5) days prior to the submittal deadline date. All questions and answers will be posted online. The District will evaluate each bid received and make award(s) based on the criteria enumerated in Texas Education Code 44.031(b). Roma Independent School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to accept the proposal the District considers most advantageous. To coordinate a site visit please call Edgar Rodriguez at 956-849-1377 or email to jerodriguez@romaisd.com This section covers labor, materials, facilities, equipment, services, employee training and testing, permits, and agreements necessary to perform asbestos abatement in accordance with these specifications, including but not limited to Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) Texas Asbestos Health Protection Rules (TAHPR) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) Regulation 40 CFR 61 Subpart M, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Regulations 29 CFR 1926.1101 and 29 CFR 1910.134, and any other applicable Federal, State, and Local government regulations. Whenever conflict or overlap of the above references exists, the most stringent provisions apply. The Abatement Contractor represents that it has all necessary licenses and permits required for the performance of this contract and the project. The Abatement Contractor shall determine the applicability of any process patents he/she may be employing and be responsible for paying any fees, royalties, and licenses that may be required for the use ofthe patented processes. The abatement contractor shall be responsible for verifying all material locations and quantities presented in this specification. Scope ofWork: F. J. Scott Elementary School - D Buildings located at 800 N Flores St, and the Old Police Department Building located at 806 Garcia St in Roma, Texas.
