The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, State Correctional Institution-Camp Hill (henceforth referred to as "SCI-Camp Hill") requires the awarded bidder (henceforth referred to as "the Contractor") to provide service and equipment to remove all sludge settlement from two (2) settling beds at SCI Camp Hill Water Plant. Removal will be up to 3 times per year at 80 tons per cleaning for a maximum of 240 tons per year. Most times only two cleanings will be required a year. Provide service and equipment to remove all sludge settlement from two (2) settling beds at SCI Camp Hill Water Plant. Removal will be up to 3 times per year at 80 tons per cleaning for a maximum of 240 tons per year. Most times only two cleanings will be required a year. Removals must be done during normal hours 7:30am to 3:30pm and not on state holidays. Contractor is responsible for all DEP / EPA permitting that is required. The contract term shall commence upon execution and receipt of purchase order or July 1st, 2023, whichever is later, and shall terminate June 30, 2027. Furthermore, both parties may agree to renew this contract before termination date of June 30, 2027. The renewed contract shall have the same terms and conditions set forth in the original contract. If such renewals are requested, the Contractor shall provide written notification of the contract renewal to SCI-Camp Hill no later than May 30, 2027 of each year that the contract is to be renewed.
