Renovation of a detention facility in Visalia, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
The Project consists of interior painting and steel railing enhancements to an existing juvenile detention building, as shown on contract documents. Work includes select partial demolition, miscellaneous metal fabrication, and painting necessary for the Juvenile Detention Facility Interior Improvements Project at 11200 Avenue 368., Visalia, CA, 93291 Cashier's Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid The successful Bidder shall possess a Class B California Contractors License at the time the bid is submitted and maintain that license until the Project is completed. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids The Project is to be completed within 180 calendar days from the date to be established in the "NOTICE TO PROCEED". The Agreement includes provisions for Liquidated Damages if the Project is not timely completed.
