Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.

The Pleasant Grove City Kindness Park Project consists of the development of a 38.85-acre parcel located between 400 North and 800 North and 400 West and 600 West in Pleasant Grove. Previously, the site was the location of a large diameter steel pipe manufacturing plant. The fully developed site will include a park, cemetery expansion, public works building (future) and site, storm water detention ponds (40 ac-ft) including soccer fields, berms, trails, parking, fencing, landscaping, irrigation, utilities, etc. Please see attached concept drawings. Project will include demolition of existing buildings, concrete structure, utilities, tree stumps, fencing, etc. as well as hazardous materials mitigation. Project will also include expansion, construction and or re-construction of surrounding streets including utilities, curb, gutter, and sidewalk, pavement, etc. The park facility will include a playground, splash pad, basketball court, futsal courts, skate park, pump track, nine square, pavilions, restrooms, utility building, shade structures, lighting, utilities, landscaping, irrigation, fencing, walls, parking, etc. City has contracted with outside suppliers for the supply and installation of playground equipment and some of the splash pad equipment. This project will include coordination with outside suppliers and installers. The complete scope of outside services has not been finalized at this time but will be accomplished during the design phase of the park.
