The City of Mandan Water Treatment Plant will receive sealed bids Bids must be submitted on forms provided by the City of Mandan Water Treatment Plant and in accordance with specifications and conditions detailed therein. Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder s bond, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the bids, as well as a copy of his contractor license or certificate of renewal. The City of Mandan reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the date fixed for opening thereof and to reject any and/or all bids and to waive irregularities whenever it is for the best interest of the City of Mandan. Contractor to furnish & install all necessary perimeter fall protection and equipment to assure a safe workplace throughout project. Remove all existing gravel ballast, metal wall cap flashings, gutters, scuppers & related downspouts and dispose of. Replace any wet/damaged insulation that may exist. Show a per square foot price for the additional cost IF any wet material is detected. Wet insulation replacement to be verified by the Plant Superintendent. Furnish & Install a layer of polyisocyanurate insulation/recovery board to meet State R Value Code. Furnish & Install a 60 mil thick EPDM ballasted (rubber) roof system. System to include all necessary flashings at all roof penetrations. Furnish & Install new 24 gauge prefinished (Bronze colored) metal wall cap flashings, gutters, scuppers & related downspouts. Color to be approved by Plant Superintendent. Furnish a 15 year manufacturer's warranty package. The length and timing of rooftop unit's disconnection and reconnection will need to be scheduled with Plant Superintendent. The City will hire contractor to disconnect and reconnect rooftop units. All work must be finished by October 31, 2023
